The Jack Pierce Makeup Memorial

Jack P. Pierce (b.1889 - d.1968)

Frankenstein (Universal, 1931)

One of Jack's most famous makeup creations was the Frankenstein Monster

Bride Of Frankenstein (Universal, 1935)

Pierce's makeup gave the characters life -- Boris and Elsa gave them soul.

The Mummy (Universal, 1932)

Jack won an award from The Hollywood Filmograph for this makeup.

ANSWER: Simple. We spend more of our time on research and writing our book than on posts.

QUESTION: Do you have a Facebook page?
ANSWER: No, we are not planning on a Facebook page or any other social media platform anytime soon. All our activity will be posted on this blog.

QUESTION: I want to contribute something. Will it be posted?
ANSWER: Only if you want us to. Post comments are automatically added and are always welcome and encouraged, but they must be related to the subject of this blog.
